• PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED COACH (PCC)

  • Level 2 and Accredited Coach Training Programs (ACTP) have built into their program the education hours, mentor coaching and performance evaluation required to earn an ICF PCC Credential.
  • Experience (Experience Certificate) of at least 500 hours (450 paid) with at least 25 clients and which should follow the start of studies in the specific coaching training program. In addition, at least 50 hours of these must have been completed 18 months prior to submitting the credential application.
  • Completion of Coaching Knowledge Assessment (CKA)

  • Completion of an ACSTH program of at least 125 hours. Check your program certification here.
  • 10 hours of Mentor Coaching over a minimum of 3 months, documented in the online application. The Mentor Coach must be a current PCC or MCC member.
  • Experience (Experience Requirements) At least 500 hours (450 paid) with at least 25 clients and which should follow the start of studies in the specific coaching training program. In addition, at least 50 hours of these must have been completed 18 months prior to submitting the credential application.
  • Performance evaluation (two recorded sessions with transcripts to be uploaded in the application).*

  • Estimated Time for Review: 14 weeks
  • If non ICF-accredited programs or Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units will be used to meet the required 125 hours of coach-specific education, you must use the Portfolio Path to apply for a credential. For non ICF-accredited education, the program curriculum will need to be submitted with robust documentation to ensure the education received meets ICF standards like ICF definition of coaching, Code of Ethics and Core Competencies, and was organized in such a way as to encourage your development as a coach.
